Description
ALEX (Allergy Xplorer) was the first ELISA-based, in-vitro multiplex allergy test designed to simultaneously measure total IgE (tIgE) and specific IgE (sIgE) across a broad spectrum of allergen extracts and molecular allergens in a single assay. This pioneering approach transformed allergy diagnostics by delivering comprehensive results from one sample.
Now in its third generation, ALEX³ sets a new benchmark in precision allergy testing.
With a comprehensive panel of 300 allergens, ALEX³ includes highly relevant allergen sources spanning 85 allergen families. The test features 218 molecular allergens, of which 107 are unique, making it the most extensive molecular allergen panel currently available.
By combining extract-based and molecular allergen testing, ALEX³ enables:
-
More accurate and detailed allergy profiling
-
Improved differentiation between genuine sensitisation and cross-reactivity
-
Enhanced risk assessment
-
Personalised, evidence-based treatment planning
ALEX³ empowers clinicians with deeper diagnostic insight, supporting truly individualised patient care and better long-term allergy management outcomes.
