Our company was founded by Dr Jenny Leslie. She holds a PhD in Virology from the University of Glasgow and
has many years of experience in the development and commercialisation of recombinant proteins used by IVD
manufacturers globally. We are supported by a powerful team of expert HPCSA registered professionals, clinical
pathologists, senior medical scientists, medical technicians and business leaders – all of whom have collectively
created the most innovative and diverse pathology offering currently in South Africa.

accurate results possible, our choice of analytes within each test category is unparalleled. Our self-sampling kits
and laboratory are equipped for the remote management of everything from chronic conditions such as

for tests, so you are not out of pocket..
Although all our sampling devices are fully approved and easy to use, some people may not feel confident to
take their own blood samples. To put your mind at ease, we provide in-clinic sampling services and are also in
discussion with leading national pharmacy groups to facilitate a national in-clinic rollout of BioSmart health
tests.
Rest assured, our fully automated platforms and tests are validated according to the industry standard CLSI
guidelines and CAP accreditation.
